Happy Father’s Day to all the great dads. And all the step up dads.
Today is so bittersweet, looking at both sides of the spectrum.
Looking at my daughter love her dad warms my heart because I know shes been able to have him in her life every step of the way. There’s nothing that he wouldn’t do for his little girl.
Then I look at my son, and my heart aches because he doesn’t have that. He doesn't have a dad that’s gonna be there every step of the way, that‘s going to always show up for him. He has a dad that hides the fact that he’s even his dad.
The cards that he was dealt seem unfair. I constantly blame myself for choosing his dad.
But, I’m thankful for the men in my life that have stepped up to love my son.
